Meet The Team

Susan Conte 

Artistic Director

Susan has spent her career as a producer and director in theatre, film (Freeway Films) and television (BBC & Channel 4) and founded Wild Duck Theatre in 2015 to develop work with a talented team of co-workers and select plays for production.

Fleur de Henrie Pearce

Associate Producer and Actor 

Fleur trained at Arts Education and over the last 20 years has performed with a number of London theatre companies. Fleur's experience is varied and extends from an actor to make-up artistry to over 12 years working with and managing events for prestigious clients in the film, theatre, art, fashion, and editorial industries. Fleur currently works within the exhibition industry and

as a film and theatre producer.

In 2019 Fleur produced and starred in The Long Road by Shelagh Stephenson which premiered at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe to great acclaim. 

Fleur lives in London with her Director husband and two naughty noisy Pomeranians.

Martin is one of our Lighting Design team.

Gordon McDougall

Gordon McDougall is a hugely experienced freelance theatre director and academic who has also been Artistic Director of the Traverse Theatre, Granada TV’s Stables Theatre, the Oxford Playhouse and the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Canada. 

Pennie Bayliss

Pennie is our Costume Designer.

Buffy Davis

Buffy has worked in a wide range of British & Foreign films & at The National Theatre, The Old Vic and The Young Vic as well as extensively in radio drama. Buffy is the voice of Jolene in The Archers.

Marc is a Director, Producer and Designer. He has directed multiple plays and has is own film award-winning company Braybrook Productions
